Attractions Near Escalante, Utah

Escalante and the surrounding areas have some of the most unusual, and interesting attractions in the United States. The premier attraction is, of course, Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument, but there is so much more to experience in the area. Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument

Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument, just a few minutes from Escalante Cabins & RV Park, is a vast wilderness, filled with colorful sandstone, soaring cliffs, and tight slot canyons. The region is made up of three main sections.

The Grand Staircase section contains some of the most spectacular slot canyons in the world. The Escalante Canyons section has waterfalls, majestic arches, and narrow canyons.
The Kaiparowits Plateau contains a variety of unique rock formations and fossils.
