Escalante and the surrounding areas have some of the most unusual, and interesting attractions in the United States. The premier attraction is, of course, Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument, but there is so much more to experience in the area. We've listed a few of our favorite places to go and things to do below. Feel free to contact us for suggestions or recommedations. We'd love to hear from you.

Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument

Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument, just a few minutes from Escalante Cabins & RV Park, is a vast wilderness, filled with colorful sandstone, soaring cliffs, and tight slot canyons. The region is made up of three main sections.

The Grand Staircase section contains some of the most spectacular slot canyons in the world. The Escalante Canyons section has waterfalls, majestic arches, and narrow canyons.

Along the way watch out for ancient Native American ruins, Pictographs, and brook trout in the stream that the trail follows.

Wide Hollow Reservoir is a great place to do some SUP. Try some fishing or just play around too!
